Senior Stylist Lisa has been a stylist for an ipressive 30 years. Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Lisa worked for Vidal Sassoon in London in 1994 where she was taught the essentials of hairdressing. She joined KAOS in 1998. We asked Lisa to tell us a little more about herself including the styles she loves creating and her ambitions…
What do you love about being a hairdresser? I love the fact that every day is different, everyone is unique, every hair style is as unique as the person that is wearing it and I’m responsible for creating that and making beautiful shapes with clients’ hair.
Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why? Paloma Faith! I love her music. She’s fabulous crazy and quirky! She’s up for anything style-wise.
Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair? Vidal Sassoon was the epitome of glamour to me. He was the original, responsible for creating beautiful shapes in hair.
If you had to live on a desert island, which three products would you take with you? Factor 50! Dermalogica moisturiser and Kerastase serum! A must for my fine fluffy hair!
What is your ultimate ambition? I am very goal orientated. I like to keep fit by running marathons. I absolutely love my job, and if I had to do it all again I would – no question! My ambition is to keep doing the job that I love for as long as I possibly can with the great team I’m with… Oh and a 3 hour 30 minute marathon would be nice!
How would you describe yourself in three words? Flamboyant, energetic, creative.
