Hairdressing Work Experience at KAOS

We offer work experience for young people who are interested in seeing what it’s really like to work in a busy, professional salon.

This is usually aimed at students in Years 10 and 11 and is often arranged through schools.

During your time with us, you’ll get hands-on experience as a salon assistant—helping with tasks like shampooing, assisting stylists, keeping the salon tidy, and making refreshments. It’s a great way to get a feel for the industry and learn how a salon runs day-to-day.

If you’re thinking about a future in hairdressing, this is a perfect first step to see if it’s the right path for you.

We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and supported from the start, with a full induction and health and safety guidance so you can settle in and enjoy the experience as part of our friendly team.

Work experience is available throughout the year, except for December.
